This volume's cover features Mugen, the scruffy lowlife who seems to make up his own fighting style as he goes along (steel-lined clogs are part of it) and who's amazingly quick, strong, and resilient. I got this fair-condition book via Better World Books (from the BC affiliates page). I've been enjoying the anime via Netflix, and decided to pick up some of the manga. ![]() And so it is! Think "samurai/wandering-adventure series with anachronistic elements and a hip-hop soundtrack" - and that barely begins to describe it. I first heard of this series from its TV Tropes page it sounded wonderfully offbeat. ![]()
